Actually yes, and quite recently...
I am in the middle of 4 months off. I injured my arm (at work) and was mostly
unable to work for a while so I decided to go out to Las Vegas for several
months. So, Thursday the 27th I end up back in town for the night. Now, I
used to barback on thursday nights, bartend during the week, and bounce
whenever they needed someone (I started originally way back when as a
bouncer). Well within 2 hours of being back in town I'm behind the bar
working. I did a little of everything that night and seems as though not much
has changed except some of the people. They had hired 4 new people since I
had left and they didn't seem to happy when the owner asked me to start
working. Most of the people that have been around for a while were happy to
see me and we picked up like no time had passed. So anyways, by the end of the
night, I had been assured that I will have a job when I come back in 3 weeks
with a promotion and raise. It's gonna be quite interesting to get back full
time. For now, I'm just going for the long commute when absolutly Neccessary
