There's the amazingly refreshing Lynchburg Lemonade:
2 parts Jack Daniels (or bourbon)
1 part triple sec
2 parts sour mix
4 parts Sprite/7UP
Then there's the mint julep, a staple of the Kentucky Derby, which is greatly 
contested in how it should be made. One suggestion (take it away with the 
rest, Drinkboy) is to muddle a few fresh mint sprigs with a teaspoon of water 
and a little bit of sugar, then put in ice and bourbon and stir.
