Have to giggle a little - we just had a group of bikers rent one of my venues
for an event, and being a "biker" myself, I have several tattoos and tend to
attract folks who are more likely to have tattoos. I can't say for sure if I
am seeing tattoos that relate to the profession though.

One of my doormen is a tattoo artist and sports full sleves and some beautiful
pieces on his neck, back and chest - the chickens really love the hell out of
him "Ohh, did it hurt? What does that one mean?". A very good friend is also
an artist and brings his clients in every once in a while to show off some of
his work on other people(some of our customers are his best clients and my
backpiece is a work in progress and nothing to scoff at).

More or less I have seen a lot more people getting tattoos in general, not
just the drinking crowds. One thing, many people get a sauced before getting
a tattoo for that "dutch courage". As a tattoo owner and as a good friend to
several artists, I don't condone this, as it thins the blood, does not allow
for quick clotting and most people make pretty stupid decisions when drinking
- just think of the scene from "Dude, where did I park my car?" - "What's my
tattoo say?" "Dude. What does mine say?" "Sweet".
