I have opened bottles that are 35 years old that still taste OK, and I use
once in a while. (My bar at home does not get much call for some of the more
exotic stuff very often.) I would agree with Cody on cream (not creme) based
products.

I would wonder about anything that had been exposed to too much heat and
possibly cold however.

Cody taught me something about tequila I didn't know, but I have some whiskeys
that are open and over 15 years old that still get use once in a while.

I don't think anything that doesn't have fresh stuff like cream in it could
really hurt anyone, so if you are worried about it, I would taste it and see
if it is worth keeping.
