I know you have extracted the cork and screw already, but the standard in my 
home is to just use a deck screw, screw gun and some plyers for the job.  Not 
pretty, but it gets the damn plastic cork out of the bottle and allows us to 
continue on to our debauchery.

I would not suggest doing this when you are in view of customers - ever.  
Though it is fun at home, I would fire myself for trying at work - unless we 
were desperate!
