There are so many things to love about bartending and being in this
industry.
I love the regulars that come in every week just because it's me behind the
bar, or that they love that I know them all by name, by drink, and know the
little things about them that make them feel appreciated, i.e. that they are
not just dollars to be put in the till.
I love that I am right there in the action, making money at the party
rather than losing it.
I love that I worked half the hours of the average office worker and made
twice as much in that time.
I loved being the voice of reason when arguments were had, and having that
respect given to me by staff and guests alike.
Of course I love the money, the fame (for lack of a better word), the
guests, and the being at the center of the action, but what I love most about
this industry is, given that you are very good at your job, the opportunities
that come your way as a result of good service. Do your job well, make people
happy, and good things will come your way.

Cheers,
Corey Keys
