Subject: Corkscrew broke off in the plastic "cork"
From: CelticFrostine

I searched forums to no avail..

I broke off my corkscrew in the plastic so-called "cork." So now just the worm
part is stuck in the plastic. How can I get the cork out without wrecking the
bottle or it's contents? I debated using another screw to go thru it again and
also pushing it into the bottle,(eek). I've got other corkscrews, I'm just not
sure if I'll wind up breaking all of them in this plastic wanna be cork.

Follow-up Q: Why plastic "corks" anyway? Mostly for deterioration and
breakage, but other than that?

Thanks in advance.
