Subject: Introducing the Gigi

I've made a new drink that I think you all will really like. The
discriminating drinker will see that it's based on a mojito, but I thinks it's
a little more versatile. The recipe is:

1.5 oz of your favorite spirit
1.5 oz pineapple juice
The juice of half a lime (.5-1 oz)
About 8 mint leaves
1 tsp water

Muddle the mint and water together in the bottom of your glass and toss the
lime shell in there, then top it with ice. Combine the spirit and juices
together in your shaker with some ice and shake it up, then strain into your
glass. Give the concoction a brisk stir. Now you have a Gigi! A little sweet,
a little tart, and a little minty.

I've only tried this drink with rum and vodka so far, but I think it would
work well with whiskey or tequila, and maybe even gin. You'll have to try it
out and let me know!
