Last week my Southern Wines and Spirits salesman told me that I would not
beable to get Sausa's Giro tequila after the first of the year due to a
shortage of Agave. He went on to say that the lower end tequila choices will
become smaller, and the upper end tequilas will become even more expensive.
With growth of tequila sales and the fact that Agave is grown in such a small
area, and takes fifteen years to mature. Has anybody heard anything about
this or is he just blowing smoke up my skirt.
