What a fun question, seeing as I love films and cocktails!

In "Meet the Parents" (and the sequel) there's a lot of talk about Tom
Collinses, that seems to be Robert DeNiro's favorite drink.

In "Saving Silverman" Amanda Peet tries to 'class up' her future boyfriend by
changing his drink order from a Budweiser to a Gin and Tonic (only happens
once).

In "Kill Bill, Volume 2" David Caradine is drinking shots of Tres Generaciones
Anejo tequila.

I've noticed on "Seinfeld" that the handful of times that hard liquor has been
used it's always been Johnny Walker Black Label.

In "Animal House" John Belushi pounds a fifth of Jack Daniels (which is cut
from the TV version of the film. Puh-lease!)

Damn, I thought it would be a much longer list, hopefully other folks will
come up with some good ones.

Regarding James Bond, Smirnoff made a point of getting their product into
those films. Now it's not a bad vodka, but it's also not a very good one for
a discriminating palate, especially for the Vodka Martini afficianado. I
think it's a bit funny that this suave, sophisticated spy with a huge expense
account is ordering Smirnoff Martinis. I suppose I shouldn't have trouble
suspending disbelief over his choice of vodka if I can do the same for the
plot, however. Granted, these films were made well before Grey Goose hit the
shelves, yet I'd expect someone with Bond's worldliness to drink something
more exotic than the most well known brand in the States.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
