And it's DIFFERENT in that the gravity is MUCH denser than most other alcohol 
floats & layers, so you can safely let it flow through the rest and settle in 
the bottom, no argument. Most other mixes need to go bottom-up as they'd mix 
too much on the way through. You could (I guess) make a black russian shot by 
layering the kahlua in and under vodka if you wanted, but only because Kahlua 
is SIGNIFICANTLY heavier than vodka.

It cannot be built, as pouring a large volume of thin liquid into a tall glass 
is pretty much guaranteed to stir up whatever you have sitting at the bottom.

Variety is good. The Tequlia sunrise is reasonably unique in this little 
method (See also Shirley Temple)
