I would have to agree... chugging vodka is a bad idea. 

One cocktail per hour and you should be fine. If you happen to have 2 in an 
hour, drink water for the next hour. 

Cocktails have more alcohol than wine and beer so you can't go at the same 
speed as you do with those. A small sized cocktail, about 5 oz, has the same 
alcohol as about 1 1/2 glasses of wine or beer (this depends to type of 
cocktail you are having). Most cocktails served in restaurants are large 
cocktails 8 to 10 oz. So, with one cocktail you could be drinking the 
equivalent to 3 or 4 glasses of wine or beer.

I hope you and your friends don't get scared away from cocktails with this 
episode and know that drinking cocktails can be a wonderful experience if done 
responsibly.
