The Periodista is a drink of the old school of Cuban bartenders, it dates back
to the 40's, when according to an old Cuban recipe book, the drink was created
as a welcome cocktail, for a convention of journalists, in fact "periodista"
means journalist in spanish.
It is actually a "daiqiuiri natural" with a dash of apricot brandy and
Cointreau, but I don't believe there's any secret ingredients at all. This is
just a legend.......
Keep on shaking
