Here in California, you can find Rose's grenadine in any supermarket... check
the hard alcohol section. If you can find any of those distasteful drink
mixes, grenadine should be nearby. I have heard some states/countries are
somewhat quirky about where alcohol can be sold, but you should be able to
find it in any decently-sized spirit alcohol outlet.

Now, I lived on Rose's for a long time, but I recently had Trader Vic's
grenadine recommended to me, so I decided to try it - and I did find I liked
it better. It's milder, but has a better flavor somehow. I should do a blind
taste test. But any grenadine is better than no grenadine in my book. Trader
Vic's I think is the same price or cheaper than Rose's, but MUCH harder to
find. I finally found an upscale liquor store sorta nearby that carries it,
but you may not have that option. Luckily, there is always the option to order
it online: http://www.tradervicsfoodproducts.com/

I love the grenadine. I put it in everything: 7-up, coke, salads, burritos,
the bath, I use it as toothpaste, etc...
