Subject: Hotel/Banquet bartending?

Hey everyone!
I've been a server for a while now, and I'm looking to pick up a second job to
put back some money before I leave for school in the fall. I applied a few
days ago at about six places for a bartending job, and wasn't expecting to
hear anything because I don't have any experience behind the bar. However, I
had an interview today at the Holiday Inn. They have an upscale restaurant +
bar which is a big wedding reception spot around here in the summer. Anyway, I
think I might have snagged the job. It would be bartending at banquets. If
this is the case, does anyone have any idea how much money this can bring in?
They said the pay rate started at 8.50/hr. for banquet/reception bartenders. I
don't think this includes tips... but I could maybe be wrong?
Thanks a lot. :)
