i would only spend money on a big bottle of the stuff i go threw allot of. i
you are really creative you can try making you're own liqueurs.

this site has home recipes for allot of liqueurs.
http://www.guntheranderson.com/liqueurs/flavors.htm

i certanly wouldn't spend allot of money on a name brand irish cream like
balieys when you can pay less than half for st.brendons (at my local store).
if you can make your own you can save allot but it could take a couple tries
to get the recipe corrrect with certan ones.

i'd deffinatly recomend trying to make my own irish cream, kaluah, tripple sec
(with orange zest) rasberry liqueur (like chamboard about 20$ a fith) cream de
cacao and cream de minth. i have made each and was quite proud of the results,
i have used the raspberry liqueur recipe with other berries with verry good
results. each home made batch i used demetri vodka to save money, it costs
less than 15$ a half gallon at my local store! demitri's quality is in my
opinion about equal to gordans vodka. i don't think it is the best for a
screwdriver or vodka squirt but is plenty good enough for this aproach.

casitillio rum also costs quite less than even bacardi and is still quite
good.
