I have a bottle of bitters from at least the 1980s, maybe even the '70s. The label is yellowed and crumbling off the bottle. It still tastes like bitters, though there's more of an alcoholy aftertaste. Oh man, should I have actually tasted that? Maybe I'm going to die now! Death by bitters, great way to go.
