Subject: New: Grand-Lady Bay Breeze (is this new?)

I came up with this drink while I was bartending on a tour boat called the
Grand Lady (hence the name). Absolut had just come out with raspberry vodka (I
now use Smirnoff), and malibu had just come out with mango flavored rum. Since
noone knew what to do with these, they would try them separate with 7-up. The
outcome was dreadfully mediocre. I took a seat after work one day and just
started to try different things. Everyone I come into contact with loves this
drink. It's very simple too.

recipe to be served in a collins glass filled with ice.

1 & 1/2oz - Smirnoff Raspberry Twist Vodka
1/2oz - Malibu Rum (mango flavored) or Parrot Bay (mango flavored)
Top the glass off with equal ammounts of Pineapple Juice and Cranberry Juice
stir

note* - when I make this drink myself, there is more booze than mixer.

This drink tastes like light grapefruit juice, It is very pleasant and has the
tendancy to go down way too easy.

I'd love to know if anyone has heard of this before.
