I believe there's more than one Nassau Royale on the market, since I came
across a Nassau Royale Rum (http://store.yahoo.com/randalls/rws11260.html ),
and a citrus liqueur..........
Nassau Royalé :
Made in Nassau, by an American for Americans, this excellent liqueur is
predominantly citrus-flavoured, with undertones of coffee, and based on cane
spirit. Invented in the 1950s it was originally sold only in the Bahamas, as a
tourist souvenir, but gradually acquired a reputation that justified
distribution to some of the USA. Its memorable trademark is one of the
island's spectacularly uniformed policemen.

To tell you the truth I've tried myself this liqueur back in the beginning of
the 80's, and I remember it was orange flavored....nowadays I have no idea
Cheers anyway!!
Dom
