Subject: Here's one for you rum fans

Here's a drink I make that I call a "Ricky Fitts."

1 oz quality gold rum (don't skimp here, I use Pyrat XO Reserve, but something
like Appleton's V/X or Bacardi 8 should work)
1 oz fresh sour mix (homemade and fresh, no powders please!)
splash of fresh orange juice
lime slice
raw sugar

Pour a little raw sugar in the bottom of a rocks glass. Muddle it with the
lime. Add ice. Pour in the rum, then the sour, and give it a splash of OJ.
Now stir and DAMN I can't stop drinking it! Trust me, make it with the good
stuff.

When we have parties, I always make these for myself (can't let everybody into
the private stash) while I mix drinks for my guests. When they ask what it
is, I tell them and show them the Pyrat. They ask and I inevitably say it...
"that's all I drink." - reminiscent of the Wes Bentley's lines in "American
Beauty." Thus the name, Ricky Fitts.

Give it a try. Feedback appreciated.
