Now, now, now, don't be that way. You say you have read the posts? Then you
should understand why no one bothered to answer your post, we have beaten the
subject of brtending school into a very submissive puppy and are sick of
discussing it. We all have differing opinions on schools, so you won't get a
straight answer from of us.
As far as a good school in Minn., I don't know of one, but I realy don't
advocate schools.
Need extra cash. Is that the only reason your'e researching this? Do you
understand that some bartending shifts can be 12 hours long, and only 8 of
those hours are you serving, and only 4 of those 8 are busy? The other 4
hours are spent cleaning, stocking and prepping? How will this fit into your
day career?
My advice (which is worth about one flush)is to see if there are actually any
openings for bartenders on your area first. I would be pretty unwise to spend
money (that you don't have) on school, only to find that the job market in
your area is flooded and you will have to search for a year to get that
coveted part time job.
Good luck
