Subject: good or bad???

Hi i dont know if this is a boring question or not but i'm working in a cafe
as bartender/waiter and trying to become as good as posiible.. Just wanna know
when you guys/Ladies are working in the different bars hotels etc when a
couple at a table single or grupe is finished drinking there cocktails, drinks
or coffe doo you take alle the glasses of the table when you see they are
finished and have asked them for more to drink, even though they say, they are
alright for the moment.
Or do you leave one glass per person`?? i know this might sound silly but i
think that it is considered good service to clean the tables even though the
customer don't need more to drink, than to leave some empty glasses on the
table, also it is faster for the tender/wiater to ceep the tables cleare for
the next customer/guesst's.

the reason i ask is because where i do work at the moment the boss whoo is'nt
there to much, think that it is the way so of course i'll do it. But i've been
taught different and just wanted your oppinions on that "simple" question,
wehter it is best to doo or not, cause they dont really have any experience at
the place.....
on forehand thanks for lookind and any comments

Meint Sijp the guy whoo need to know more..... :o)
