Buddy I'm kinda feeling your pain, Im currantly in a job that I feel that I am
too experienced for! Dont get me wrong I absolutly love the job and the
crowd, the only problem is the money, Im just not getting what I deserve, over
qualified for they pay they are offering!
I am never one to follow money, job satisfaction for me is more important as
long as Im not being taken for a mug, if its money Im after, I have my own
business thats can secure that, but I just love the Bar scene as a side line
and for the social experience it offers!
Here in the UK, unless you are really lucky you are never going to be rich
working the drinks industry, so you really have to have a passion for it, its
not going to make you wealthy, I got my job by being over experienced in
knowledge but not so much in practicality, so I took the job to progress
myself but now I feel I might be being taken advantage of, gonna be chatting
to my manager tomorrow about a wage increase, purely on the grounds that its
what i deserve, I'll let you know how it goes!
Cheers
Russ
