I've been an instructor for some time. Most schools in the USA are 40 hours
long and can be completed in as little as a week. Two-weeks is the norm. Some
schools offer weekend courses so that could take several weeks. However, class
time is usually just 40 hours total. That is the minimum requirement for
almost all the states that require licensing as a private school.

The fees can be all over the board. I have seen them as low as $275 per
student up to $2,100. The school I work at charges $900.

Just remember, no school can promise you a job. The best they can do is
promise to teach you to bartend.
