I am a female bartender, and pretty good looking as well. I can honestly say
if you want the "good" training at a well established place you should do what
I did and worked my way up. I started working at TGi Fridays as a server, and
everyone knows how good the fridays bartenders are. I wanted the training that
they had. So in a short 8 months of serving I got promoted and got taught a
lot of very useful information when it comes to giving good service and having
a great time. I started flair immediately. I am a natural at it, or so i've
heard. When it came around to the bartending championships I took 1st place
over a bartender that has been working there for 5 years. It kind of pissed
him off that a new girl (only been bartending for 5 months at that time) beat
him at something he won every year. I would suggest you get a job at a well
known place and work your ass off. I can tell you if you have the right
training and skills bars will be begging you to bartend at there bars. I got
"recruited" while working at fridays to work at a sports bar called "Smokey
bones" And head up the bar. It pays really well and closes earlier then
fridays did. So, Jenny..... I wish you all the luck in the world, its hard
work to get your foot in the door, but the opportunities are endless after
that!
