I was taught to count bubble, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, but it
never worked for me. There is a certain zen to the whole thing, and I can say
that I am definately "one with the liquor." Now, I tend to count bubble, two,
three, four, five, six, seven, etc. Having said that, pour spouts vary
dramatically as does the viscosity of the booze. It's very difficult to get an
accurate pour on Bailey's or ice cold Rumplemintz.

I worked with a guy who was a guitar player and he just tapped his foot to
count. Hey, it worked for him. Then again, I worked with a flighty sort of
bartender who used to say, "If you get really busy, just count faster."
