whatever works for you!

I use your method - the four count to get an ounce.

The reason being is that I can then accurately pour 1/4 ounces.  So If I wanna 
pour 1&1/2 I would do a six count.

I think dan does the same count as I do as you don't actually count the 4th - 
you cut.  Also I add the word bubble to the beggining of my count as it can 
take some time for the liquid to come out.

So an ounce would be - bubble, two, three, cut

A double would be - bubble, two, three, four, five, six, seven, cut

I have to pour test myself before every shift as I work in different bars 
during the week - some work with 25ml jiggers (just less than an ounce) some 
work with 35ml jiggers (which FYI is bubble, 2,3,4,5,cut - but slightly slower)
