

hey, i've never worked a register at a bar, but i do have experience with them
and training people on them. my best advice would be: Dont be scared of the
cash register.
if you have the skills making drinks and especially the skills with the people
(even more so if you are working with people at a track) then management
should be willing to help you along learning the ins and out of cash
handling/cash register. obviously you will be "watched" until they are
confident you know what you are doing - as so there's no loss in profit or
serious register mix up that'll mess with there paperwork at the end of the
day. thats supervision just like any other job.
