Subject: Shelf life for wine/vermouth once opened?

I know the whole "shelf life" topic has been discussed to death, but it seems
to have always centered around the 6 essential spirits and those liqueurs
based upon those.
But what about your house wines and vermouths?
I have read it several ways...
1. Once opened, wines (house chablis, burgundy, etc.) should be used within a
few days.
2. Once opened, wines can be served for up to 2 weeks as long as they are
sealed after each pour.
3. Vermouths, once opened, should be used (refrigerated or not) within a few
weeks.
4. Vermouths, once opened, should be refrigerated and used within 3-5 months.
5. Vermouths, once opened, are shelf stable and can last one year without
refrigeration.
I have seen bars that only buy the small bottles to keep it fresh, thoughs
that refrigerate it and those that let it collect dust while sitting on the
bar with a spout in it.
What do you guys do?
