I have never had a lava flow nor have I made one but I do seem to remember a
recipe I read somewhere. If I reacall correctly the lava flow was nothing more
than a pina colada but before pouring the drink into the glass a bead of
strawberry syrup is placed along the inside rim on the glass and allowed to
run down the inside twords the bottom. Once the syrup has ran you add the pina
colada and there you have it. Even if this recipe is not the real thing I
think it sounds like it's worth a try. Please correct me if I am wrong, it was
a while ago that I saw this recipe and I THINK it was called a lava flow.
My question is if anyone has a recipe for the strawberry syrup of if store
bought is always used?
