I too, love my job! I work in a small upscale restaurant/bar. We do sell a
lot of tap & bottled beer, but we sell twice as many cocktails (old standards
as well as "new age"). We also have a lovely wine selection, which we sell by
the glass and by the bottle. Hey, you have to start somewhere and I commend
you for wanting to learn more and better yourself!
Fortunately, I have the latitude to try new and different things, without
too much interference from the owners. Some things work, some don't. So much
depends on your clientele. It sounds like you're heading in the right
direction introducing the cocktails. Keep up the good work!
