Haud,

THis is a excellent question and I'm excited to see how others answer. I
simply count seconds, 1 second is 1/4 oz., 2 seconds is 1/2 oz. and so on.
Now this isn't really a very accurate way of doing it because difrent liqours
have diffrent thicnesses, I beleive "viscosity" is the word I'm searching for,
therefore, vodka will pour a bit more quickly than Rumplemintz, and Rumpie
will pour more quicly than Baileys Irish cream. I, however, have been doing
this for a loooooonnnnnggggg time and am generaly able to gague a 1/4, 1/2 and
full shot bu the level in the glass, but the counting still goes on in my head
form force of habit!

What do you all think?
