Yes, it does go bad. from what i understand, you should keep it refrigerated 
and consume it within 6 months. if its unopened, you should heed the 'sell by' 
date or 'consume by' date. it says one of those two things and i'm too lazy to 
get up and read the bottle to figure out which. i remember that the date thing 
is a fairly recent addition-or more accurately that it was added within the 
last 3 years.
