"Planteur" it's a typical drink of the French Antille and a "rhum agricole"
should be used in it's preparation,"St. James ambre'" it's a great favorite
by locals. Angostura? NO, it's not necessary to add angostura to a
"Planteur",that's needed in a"Planter's Punch" but it's not recommended in a
"Planteur".
The recipe :
Build in a tall glass full of ice
1.5 oz Rhum Agricole Ambre
2 oz freshly squeezed pineapple juice
dash of sugar cane syrup
dash of grenadine
lime twist
stir, garnish with a pineapple slice and a cherry.
Cheers
Dom
