Sugar water and simple syrup are the same thing, simply boil three cups of
water, and to the boiling water add two and a half to three cups of sugar.
Start with just two cups of sugar first, and stir the solution untill the
sugar is disolved completely, add sugar untill the solution will no longer
hold any more sugar. Let the stuff cool completely before transfering it to
another container, as sugar water is very hot stuff and sticks to you skin and
keeps burning. After the simple syrup has cooled add the lime juce. If you
add the lime juice while the sugar solution is still hot, you stand the chance
of scorghing the lime juice or evaporating a lot of the liqild from the lime
juice. hope this helps!
