depends on  what you mean by "average sized" a #2 key lime averages 1 oz , 
also the age and condition of the fruit. you get more juice(it's also sweeter) 
if the fruit is soft and ripe not stiff. you can get more yield by putting 
them in a microwave for 30 sec or so first.
 
you can squeeze a dozen or half and put in a bottle with a pourer ,kept on ice 
it will keep for a shift.(most chefs have fresh lemon juice in the kitchen)

 or get a juicer ,the kind you cut the fruit in half and it drains into a pan, 
find one with increments on th side of the pan. if you squeeze directly into a 
shaker or drink you risk getting pulp and seeds in th drink.
