Hpnotiq is a subject that comes up around here quite often. I've kept quiet
for a while doing my research but... Maybe just in my neck of the woods, it's
not a product i've seen in any bars or off-licences. Other UK bartenders the
same?
It seems to me though, IMNSHO, that it is an attempt at a "premium" drink,
that is already mixed, (cognac, vodka and exotic juices.) At 17%ABV it sounds
a little like upmarket Taboo.
If i am right in thinking that it has not yet hit the UK, or maybe just leeds,
then i can see it being drunk as a shot as an alternative to Sourz (If you
know the stuff and you are also forced to sell it to idiotic youths who think
they are drinking hard liquor when it is little more than a sip of wine, then
you will feel my pain!)
Although i have not tryed it, i have little confidence in it. I'm asuming by
the repeated questions here that it has a MASSIVE marketing campain going in
the US?
What the hell, i'll order a case and add it to the "4 shots for a fiver" list.
(How much does it cost anyway?)
