A margarita in my opinion should be 1 and 1/2 shots tequila, 1/2 shot
cointreau, juice of half a lime, shaken and strained into a salt rimmed
margarita glass. Not blended, not with "margarita mix" not sweet and sour,
not roses lime and certainly not as it was served to me in Canada, shot of
tequila then what ever flavour slush from an ice machine i wanted with it.

If this is also how you wish to serve your margaritas then you'll need a
gallon and a half of tequila, half a gallon of cointreau and a whole lot of
limes. A shaker, ice and a bucket of salt.
