Stick it out man, it'll look good to other employers...besides you may not be
able to find another job in the month and a half. Money is money.

I take tables to, not becuase I have to but because I WANT to. Its just more
tips in your pocket, sometimes I'll make half what I made in the bar and walk
out very happy. I do to-go order when the to-go person is cut early, doesn't
bother me all to much if I have someone pack the stuff up for me if I'm busy.
Sometimes I get tipped from the to-go customers, again more money in my
pocket. As for going to the store, people jump at the chance to leave the
resturaunt for a few minutes...it allows me time to relax, others a quick
smoke break.
Can't relate to the other ones so sorry there.

Bartenders are usually the "head" of the place when you think about it. Most
resturaunts have it set up as the bar being one of the first things you see,
so the bartender is one of the first persons you see...look happy to be there
cause the customer sees all. Then there's the servers perspective, bartenders
are usually the top of the heap in serving. You have more responsibilties and
the managment trusts you enough to be back there. Bartending pulls plenty of
"extra" duties all the time, you just never think of it. Be happy your at
where your at.
