I took this job to gain more experience as a bartender (previously

I hope I get this right. You are at a job that you hate, but are planning to
leave in a month and a half anyway. And you want to know if you should leave
now.

In my own opinion, which isn't worth much, you should stick it out. Not only
show up and go thru the motions, you should go at it full heartedly. Take
ownership in your job, even though it isn't a true bartender job as you would
like it.

I base this opinion on the fact that when you show your job history in future
interviews you can explain what this job had you do, and that you didn't care
for the things you had to do, but you adapted and made it work for you. You
don't tell them, however, that you hated it from the start and were going to
quit because you didn't want to do anything extra.

It is good experience to do alittle of everything anyways. Think of it as a
crash course that is only going to last a month and a half longer. Anyone that
had a Resume writing class knows that skills you obtained thru work history
are hard to remember, you are learning quite a few to add to your list.

Once you take your job and make it your own it'll be alot easier to deal with
all of the stuff you are required to preform. Maybe you can develope a system
to let purchasing know what stock you need and when you need it. Sounds fun to
me.
