As my screen name denotes, Jello shots are my specialty. I've seen the
accessories for these Jel-Shooters in liquor stores (like the little 1 oz.
cups, etc.), but the idea is kinda lame. Yeah, it saves time, but what if they
taste like crap? And I don't trust anything that gels like that without at
least refrigeration! Personally, I find it easy to make regular ones: my
friend lets me use her kitchen a lot, which has one of those special "boiling
water" faucets, which really cuts my time down. Plus I place them in the
freezer instead of the fridge to speed up the jelling, and have gotten almost
the timing down pat on when to move them to the fridge before they frost up.

Also, these Jel-shooters only seem to come in 4 flavors; Jello comes in way
more than that, so you can make a lot of different types of Jello shots
(people nearly worshipped me when I took Island Pineapple Jello, light rum,
Malibu, and lime juice to make Pine Colada shots).

While we're on this topic, I've actally considered supplying Jello shots to
friend's parties for a nominal fee (so that they don't hafta worry about
making them or anything). I already have liddable cups for transport, labels
to keep them straight, and about 60 different recipes. However, I'm not sure
if I would need an OLCC license to sell them to bars or anything (I live in
Oregon, BTW).
