Both examples are written in parts.  This is an easy method to make a drink in 
any size. It is a ratio.  One part can be a cap full,a 1/4 oucne, a cup, a 
gallon, a frisbee full, any thing really. As long as you follow the recipe 
using the same measuring device or method of pouring throughout.
