I've tried to keep mine to one page with the main emphasis being my varied
experience from kitchen prep chef to bartender to management. I've found it's
got me interviews and on one occasion a phone call the next day from the
general manager with the exact words "F*cking Hell, i've got your CV (resume)
in my hand, you've done everything, when can you start?"
Some resumes i've taken at my current job have things like "I like playing
tennis, reading and going to the cinema with friends." Like i care what books
you like when i've got a bar 3 deep. Keep it simple, have you bartended
before? Have you used a till before?
Rant over, we've just taken on a load of new staff and my nerves are not at
their best. Better have a drink ;)
