Don't know if there is a correct way, also variations in different places. I'm
from UK but here's a rough idea of layout i used when applying for jobs in BC
Canada.
Personal Information - including name, DOB, contact numbers etc.
Employment History - Dates of employment, company name, Job title.
I've recently added this section. Additional Job Info. - Including skills
learnt in previous employment which may be relevant such as stock take, money
handling etc.
Education - Dates and academic qualifications.
Additional training courses - Anything else such as First Aid qualifications.
Referees.
Hope this is some help. Don't intend to post it here but i can email you my
actual resume if you want to see an example.
