Where I work, the most popular drinks are, not including beer (the most
popular seller of all) and wine:
* Vodka tonic
* Gin & Tonic
* Maker's & Diet Coke
* Vodka martini on the rocks
* Martini on the rocks
* Dirty vodka martini on the rocks
* Manhattan
* Bourbon & water
* Bourbon & Coke
* Bourbon & Ginger Ale
* Gin on the rocks
* Dewar's
* Screwdriver
* Greyhound (invariably ordered as "vodka & grapefruit")
* Madras
* Seabreeze
* Baybreeze
* Cape Codder (invariably ordered as "vodka & cranberry")
Very simple.
Other favorites include:
* Gingertini (Absolut Mandrin & Ginger Ale over ice in a tall glass, with an
orance slice)
* Orange Whip (Vodka, orange juice & pink lemonade and an orange slice)
* Dirty Goose (a dirty Grey Goose vodka martini on the rocks)
* Golfer Special (Vodka, OJ & Sprite (or Ginger Ale))
* Special Martini (equal parts Grey Goose and Triple Sec, straight up)

There is no such thing as a standard recipe for any drink. It varies from
country to country, region to region, city to city, bar to bar and customer to
customer. Though it is sometimes possible to track down original recipes, such
as for the Singapore Sling or the Seelbach Cocktail.
