Not any longer,buddy. This happened many years ago, now if you want to work on 
a cruise ship is propably just for fun and for the experience, but do not 
expect big money at sea. Cruise ships nowadays looks more like floating 
resorts than luxury cruise liners, the grandeur of the past has gone,cruises 
have shrunk more and more, and the average lentgh of a typical Caribbean 
cruise is seven days. What do you expect...However if you want to try to go at 
sea anyway I suggest these cruise lines :
Crystal Cruises
Seabourne
Radisson
Silver Seas
These companies are probably the best you could find 
Dom Costa.
