That is a hard question. It really depends on what kind of drinkers you have
at your function.
If you have a lot of young people you probably won't need much Scotch or Gin.
Older folks will want a vast array for highballs.
Also, are you buying cheap squeezy bottle liquor or premium liquor?
For a wedding, I typically have cheap champagne for a toast. I have a few
base liquors (Bourbon, Vodka, Rum, Tequila) and lots of mixers for alcoholic
and nada drinks. And most importantly I prepare a liquored and non-liquored
punch (two different colors).
Most wedding do not want a bunch of drunks ruining the event. Stick to
champagene, wine, some high balls and punch. O'yeah - and a tip jar!!!!
