If the principal drinking that you're thinking about are Daquiris or anything
with relatively fine ice chips in it you can eaasily use any old blender or
hand-blender. I'm a university student and that's what I end up using for
Daquiris and any cocktail-type drinks with crushed ice. You can even use a
blender on a lower setting for ice that isn't as finely crushed but it's
tougher and, of course, it's not really as good as a real ice crusher. Should
work though.
