a speed/soda gun is really easy. there are usually initials for things or
another indication, some have full words. i.e. "7" is seven up or "L" for
lemon lime, "c" for coke, a red "c" for cranberry, a yellow "s" for sweet &
sour, etc.

my advice is do NOT fake it. tell them u want to bartend, u know a lot of
drinks, & are willing to learn the ins & outs. u may make it through an
interview & get hired, however i doubt it. if u do, u will quickly be outted
as either a fake, liar, or a not so good bartender. a HUGE thing in the bar
industry that i have experiance is trust (missing cash, short liq counts,
etc..) if u r lying from the start how do u expect them to trust u w/cash &
alcohol? u may even have to start as a barback.. which isnt so bad. i had
several months experiance in an upscale martini bar & had to start as a
bouncer when i went to another club then move up to a barback then to a
bartender.

good luck.
