I do not know enough about wines, but to help preserve the flavor and longevity of all liqueurs such as all schnapps, all liqueurs which contain eggs, or, milk or cream, Kahlúa, Chambord, Frangelico etcetera they should all be refrigerated once they are opened. I find liqueurs also taste better when chilled.
